Why This Site Exists
Ohio public-record rules make many jail, court, and custody records available unless a specific exemption applies. The hard part is often understanding why one record may describe local custody, another may describe a filed court case, and another may describe a later correctional status. This site organizes that public-record context without claiming to be the record holder.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference website. It has no connection to any sheriff's office, jail, court, corrections department, or other government agency.
- We cannot release, hold, move, or transfer anyone in custody.
- We cannot post bond, schedule visits, add commissary funds, or set up jail phone accounts for you.
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a court should handle a case.
Search Partners
Some pages may include search tools supplied by third-party providers. Those providers set their own prices, terms, data practices, and result limits. If a visitor chooses a paid partner tool after using this site, we may receive a referral fee. That support helps keep the reference content available, but it does not give us control over a partner's records, pricing, or search results.
